"For artist Noel W Anderson his newest exhibition In Blue Fur starts in a dark age. In the middle of the 13th Century, Italian chronicler and archbishop of Genoa Jacobus de Voragine compiled and published a collection of the legendary lives of medieval saints. A gathering of 153 hagiographies, Golden Legend was widely read throughout the last century of the Dark Ages. One story included was The Miracle of the Black Leg.
